The Pacific Ocean is the biggest ocean in the world. For this reason, it's also home to some of the most profound and exotic marine animals. These creatures are all on display at the infamous Aquarium Of The Pacific. This large aquarium is found in Long Beach and is the perfect way to spend a day away from L.A.
The Aquarium of The Pacific is home to an abundance of sea life. They have otters, sharks, jellyfish, and octopus, and a whole lot more. The aquarium takes up a whopping 5-acre property and sees over 1.5 million visitors each year.

While you're in Long Beach, be sure to check out some of the amazing restaurants and bars this city has to offer. You will find that, unlike LA, Long Beach has plenty of parking, and less wait times when you dine out. This makes Long Beach the perfect candidate for a one-tank trip.
Right around the Aquarium is the legendary Queen Mary. This ship is a relic and guests are invited to hop aboard and tour this amazing blast from the past. The Queen Mary is also very popular around Halloween as it's said to be haunted.

But whatever brings you to Long Beach, be sure you save enough time to catch some rays and lie out on the sand. Nothing beats watching the sunset as you sip a tropical drink. For this reason, Long Beach is the perfect place to consider the next time you want to take a one-tank trip!
