James Dean is famous for being an iconic movie star but his untimely death made him infamous. He was able to capture the voice of a generation, but his PorscheSpyder 550 is as legendary as he is.

It was called the "Little Bastard." While filming Rebel Without A Cause, James Dean had upgraded from the 356 to the 550 Spyder and decided that he wanted to make it uniquely his. Dean called upon George Barris, of movie car fame, to customize the Porsche. He gave it tartan seats, two red stripes over the rear wheels and plastered the number ‘130’ on its doors, hood and engine cover. Dean painted the name on the car. James Dean met his untimely death in a crash driving this car at the age of 24.

The car is said to be cursed. After killing James Dean, the car was returned to its creator, George Barris The car broke a mechanic's leg as it was being delivered. As Barris sold pieces of the car, the customers he sold to experienced accidents and some deaths. The car killed a truck driver who was transporting it, and was even said to have caused a fire in the garage it was stored in. The car has vanished but many still believe it to be cursed. There is said to be a piece of the "Little Bastard" in the Historic Auto Attractions museum in Illinois, so go check it out if you dare!
