If you're feeling brave, try switching up your normal travel routine by staying in one of these haunted hotels. But don't be surprised if a ghostly resident decides to say "Hello.' Some of the most beautiful hotels on Earth are also the most haunted. But here's a list of the ones you won't want to miss... just make sure you bring your ghost-hunting supplies.

SHAKER'S PENTHOUSE (Milwaukee, WI)
The penthouse of this cigar bar and restaurant boasts a room that used to be a Prohibition-era brothel. A young bordello girl was murdered in this room and is said to still be there. For a small fee, you and a guest can spend the night in this haunted penthouse. But be warned, the hotel assumes no responsibility for loss of property or death! Oh, and no pets allowed!
HOLLYWOOD ROOSEVELT HOTEL (Los Angeles, CA)
The Roosevelt is a hotel that boasts not one, but two celebrity ghosts walking though its corridors. Montgomery Cliff stayed at the hotel while rehearsing for his role in From Here To Eternity. in 1953. His ghost has been seen, maybe still trying to "find his motivation." The second ghost is the infamous starlet Marilyn Monroe. Guests of the poolside Suite 1200 report seeing her in the full-length mirror.
THE BOURBON ORLEANS HOTEL (New Orleans, LA)
The Bourbon Orleans hotel in New Orleans used to be a theater and ballroom. But today there are said to be several haunting occupants gracing the halls. People have reported seeing a confederate soldier, children, nuns, and even a lonely dancer who likes to stay in the ballroom. But don't let these spirits bother you: they are said to be harmless and the Bourbon Orleans is so beautiful that it might be worth the risk to stay a night or two.
